There are a couple of annoying bugs in the Forum software used by GenoPro that have been around for some while.

Firstly the advanced search (e.g. click Search then Advanced Search) link does not work, it simply returns the results of the previous search.

Secondly attachments received in Private Messages in the Inbox cannot be accessed, it just redirects to the forum home page.

Ron, it's always important to report those errors.  Our support forum is always under heavy pressure because we are making changes to integrate new features, from online backups, sending files to others, publishing online and our coming collaboration module.

I took the tome to re-write the forum search, now supporting a query string as a parameter. This will allow the user to save or share a search link with someone else:

http://support.genopro.com/Search1-2-1.aspx?keywords=report+generator&ForumIdentities=59%7c60%7c86%7c82%7c87&reply=15

The URL above will search for report generator in certain forums only with at least 15 replies.

Anyway it should work, note that I'm aware that the advance search is not 100% functional when changing the selected forum.

I also fixed the bugs regarding the attachment in private messages, however I have no clue why this feature stopped working...

JcMorin, since changing the forum there appears to be a bug in displaying Recent Posts....Posts since my last visit.

It appears that the search reveals previously read topics being displayed for two days prior.  It has accurred since you changed the advance search features

I've changed the "Posts since my last visit" to be timezone-friendly. This is probably not very much precise but let me know if that works better or not.

Posts since my last visit (~12 hours ago)

I like to keep up to date with the forum, and revisiting old posts consumes a lot of unnecessary time.

For the last couple of days I've noticed a couple of problems with the forum:
  1. Although I am logged on I am not shown on either the Forum Activity Box or the Who's On page. However, I do appear on the Members Page.
  2. Forum topics that I have not read are normally shown in bold type which reverts to normal type after reading. This last step is not now happening.

Is anybody else noticing these changes?
