Hi Daniel,

in clinical situation, we would find very help full, especially with memory impaired people to be able to enter current age when a patient cannot tell date of birth of a relative, so that GP approximates date of birth as it does, when entering age at death.

I made a gimmick of how it looks

This was discussed in http://support.genopro.com/Topic12701-58-1.aspx. The age is a calculated field - the differance between the Birth and Death dates.

I have plans to support an "ongoing" age or timespan.  I use GenoPro for my acquaintances, and often I get the answer "I have been living in this house for 5 years, or I have been working on this job for 2 years".  GenoPro will provide a mechanism to record a timespan with the date the information was captured. The current age of an individual is a similar case as the "age" of having worked at a job or lived in a house.

I find this by going to ind properties (view tab) and then scrolling to "age", this will show all the ages for people alive and dead.

Serge wants to be able to enter the current age of an individual if the date of birth is not provided.  At the moment, GenoPro can only record the age of death, or compute the current age from the date of birth.

I'm ashameously reactivating this request, since after 3 week holydays and making a genogramm I had the case of a patient who told me her ex-husbond was 47, and I was slowed down to calculate his year of birth, while she was speaking to me of other important infos I could not draw in the meantime

I have not forgot this, however this is not a simple fix, as the current age is something different than the age of death.   The solution I am thinking must work with the report generator and have no other side-effects.
