I really like working with Genopro2007 in making my family database. A few weeks ago I decided to publish it partly (www.gutteling.info). Now I have found out that the URL's of "most popular places" and the place URL on the personal pages return an error (e.g. The requested URL /place-place00001.htm was not found on this server.), even for places that have Google maps coordinates inserted.

When you look at the URL of the place that returned this error code (in the paces index), it reads places.htm#place00001. Although I'm a novice with html, this seems like an ordinary webpage & bookmark to me. Actually this works fine. The place index seems to work fine too.

Please can someone give me a suggestion how to deal with this issue? Thanks.

Jan

For some reason the html files for each place, place-placexxxxx.htm, have not been generated to your website. You are using a custom skin, first try using the builtin skin which should work correctly. Then check your custom skin for errors, e.g. is file place.htm present? have you changed config.xml and accidently removed the place.htm entry? etc.
