In the Table view for Individuals I do not appear to be able to enter data in the column "Baptism Place", should this be possible ? Essentially I want to copy a Custom Tag "BAPM.Place" into the "official" location for that data, and am unable to easily do so. Trying to enter data by hand into a cell in that column also does not work.

No problem entering/pasting the data into other columns.

When the Table Layout encounters a place, it creates an hyperlink so you can click on the place and view the place details.  The place is an object and cannot be pasted in the Table Layout.  The Table Layout can only paste text.

We need to upgrade the Table Layout to be capable to create objects and delete them when the user pastes text. Such new feature would be handy for pasting places and sources.

Thanks for the explanation. I had originally hoped that the "toolkit" would have taken "BAPM.Place" resulting from a Gedcom import and placed it in the correct location but it doesn't and it leaves me with a whole load of info in the wrong place. Cut and paste in the table view would have solved it but I now understand why it doesn't work.
