When I want to add a picture I already have in the file to an individual i use the Pick button and I select the picture from the Select picture list view of all included pictures.

Thats nice. The problem is that there is no way how to PREVIEW pictures listed. In case you do not remember how all the pictures looks like, then it is quite difficult to find and select the right picture.

Do you plan to add preview function? It can be for example a new window (switchable on/off) where you can automatically see preview of the actually selected picture.

(The other suggestion: the "Select picture" window should remember its size and position)

Hello folks,

can anybody give me an advice how to select pictures? I still do not know how to do it without preview.

Dan do you plan to add an check button "Display picture" to "Pick Pictures" window to open window with the preview? All what is necessary is already in, just to add the check button and add some code.  I know that you have a long list what to do till v2 but this can be good improvement with a few work.

Thanks for the answer.

Jan

Have you tried the button to View Pictures (Ctrl + W) from the Table Layout?

Have you tried the button to View Pictures (Ctrl + W) from the Table Layout?

Of course I know that it is possible to open View Pictures window (Ctrl + W) from the Table Layout but it is not possible in case I need to select pictures (any Pictures list - Pick button). In case that you want to Pick a few of the pictures and add them to an object (individual, source...) it is not possible to see what picture you are adding/picking. The only way is to remember the picture according the description.

Only one open View Pictures window also do not help in case I need to compare two or several pictures.

The View Pictures window is also unusefull in case I need to rewrite something from the picture to a record (for example picture of a book and I woul like to rewrite a part of the text somewhere). This is not possible because as soon as you open an object properties window (for example individual properties) the picture from the View Pictures window dissapear.
